John Daly:`tired of embarrassing myself`
John Daly:`tired of embarrassing myself` The career of golfer John Daly has undergone more twists and turns than a Shakespearean tragedy, but if we are to believe the two-time major championship winner, he may have come to the end of the road on Friday. In an interview with a Golf Channel producer following rounds of 79-71 that left him well off the cutline at the Farmers Insurance Open, Daly maintained that he no longer will compete on the professional circuit. "I'm done," said a forlorn Daly in the Torrey Pines parking lot. "Just can't play like I used to. ... I'm tired of embarrassing myself." The interview was being conducted for an upcoming reality series on Golf Channel entitled "Being John Daly," the second such program the golfer has done with the network. (Caught at and Told at C&T)

Camilo Villegas and his `Spiderman` putting style!
Camilo Villegas and his `Spiderman` putting style! When golfer Camilo Villegas with his flashing rippling biceps burst on the scene in 2006, he attracted swarms of screaming female fans and cat-calls were no infrequent event. Another aspect of Camilo that warrants frequent discussion is the fact that if he can't see the line of a putt properly, he won't hesitate to drop into a half-squat, half-pushup position to drop his eyes to nearly green level. On a side note, if you've never tried getting that low to read a putt, try it. It actually works.

Swedish Golfer Henrik Stenson Strips Down!
Swedish Golfer Henrik Stenson Strips Down! Swede Henrik Stenson had no problem stripping down to take a successful recovery shot during the opening round of the WGC-CA Championship. When his ball landed in the mud on the twelfth hole, Henrik had two options:take an automatic two shot deficit or play the ball as it lied. Never one to take the easy way out, Henrik waded into the mud, but not before removing every bit of clothing, except his tighty whities. "If you are saving a shot, that has to be worth taking your shirt and trousers off." said Stenson.
